Ice cream, cheese, yogurt, butter, sour cream and many other Tillamook dairy items are available in stores, although the cheese curds are not available in grocery stores. There is a full hookup RV park across the street.Īlthough this is the "source", nearly all grocery stores in Oregon sell a wide variety of Tillamook products. The parking lot is huge and there is ample RV parking, but overnighting is not allowed. Since this attraction is so popular, expect crowds, especially in the summer. ![]() Additionally, there is a huge gift shop that sells thousands of items, including all kinds of cow-related products. The fudge counter sells about 15 kinds of fudge, including a couple of sugar-free varieties. The ice cream counter sells 38 flavours of ice cream, some available only here. There is a gourmet gift shop that sells Northwest varieties of jams, seafoods and other food products. You can purchase any of the Tillamook products that they make - everything from cheese to butter to yogurt to ice cream. Just in case you are still hungry after all that sampling, there is also a cafe, which offers (of course!) Tillamook cheese sandwiches as well as many other breakfast and lunch items. ![]() There are many flavors of cheese available for sampling, including their famous cheese curds or "squeeky cheese". You can gaze through glass windows at processing machinery and huge vats of milk and also see cheese being cut and packaged from 80 lb blocks. Note: Tillamook cheese is not processed and packaged on the weekends, so if you visit then you will be looking at quiet machinery. They offer a self-guided tour, which begins with a video presentation about the history of Tillamook. The Tillamook Cheese Factory is the most popular attraction in the Tillamook area, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually.
